Harlan Knatvold, 71, Edmond, Okla.

Funeral services for Harlan Knatvold of Edmond, Okla., will be held at Baggerley Funeral Home in Edmond on Saturday, Jan. 25, at 10 a.m., with interment following at Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
Harlan was born Feb. 16, 1931, in Albert Lea. He was a graduate of the University of Minnesota’s Business College. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War. After years of employment in the Minneapolis area with Dayton-Hudson Corporation, Harlan was transferred to Oklahoma where be served as vice president of finance for John A. Brown Company.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Myrtle Knatvold; his sister, Eldora Jane; and his wife, Beatta.
He is survived by his children: Nancy VanDeVeire, and Edward Knatvold of Edmond, and Julie Carney of Durant, Okla.; and five grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Albert Lea High School Band, c/o Baggerley Funeral Home; 930 S. Broadway, Edmond, OK 73034.
