Elmira Jordahl, age 88, of Buffalo Center, Iowa, died Friday, Feb. 21, 2003, at St. Luke’s Lutheran Home in Blue Earth.

Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Zion Lutheran Church in Rake, Iowa, with the Rev. John Lee officiating . Burial will be at South Blue Earth Cemetery, rural Bricelyn.

The visitation is 5-7 p.m. today, Feb. 24, at the Winter Funeral Home, 414 First St. N.W., in Buffalo Center, and one hour before the service at the church.

Elmira is survived by five children: Richard and wife Darlene of Albert Lea, Janice and husband Ted Wiedenman of Des Moines, Iowa, Burton and wife Mary of Buffalo Center, Eugene and wife Jacquelyn of Northwood, Iowa, and Jacqueline and husband Robert Joynt of Rake; 15 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; one sister, Opal Wade and husband Orie of St. Paul; and by two sisters-in-law: Frances Berg of Rake, and May King of Phoenix, Ariz.
