Olga Margaret Larson, 101, Albert Lea

The funeral service for Olga Margaret Larson of St. John’s Lutheran Home, Albert Lea, will be held at 2 p.m. today, Feb. 5, at St. John’s Lutheran Home Chapel. The Rev. Curtis Zieske will officiate. Interment will be in Graceland Cemetery, Albert Lea. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the chapel.

Olga died Sunday, Feb. 2, 2003, at St. John’s Lutheran Home. She was 101 years old.

Olga was born Dec. 16, 1901, at Fowler, Colo., to Ole A. and Severna (Jacobson) Fedde. She graduated from Fowler High School and Teachers College in Greeley, Colo. Olga married Franklyn W. Larson on May 20, 1927, in Fowler, Colo. She taught school in LaJunta, Colo., for many years. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. She belonged to the Bible Study Group, Ladies Aid, was a member of the Pricilla Circle, and was a charter member of the Alter Guild. Olga enjoyed gardening, sewing and keeping very busy.

Olga is survived by two daughters: Martha Jean (George) Wickberg of McMinnville, Ore., and Helen Ann (Donald) Sckrabulis of Scottsdale, Ariz.; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Olga was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Franklyn; seven brothers and two sisters; one son; one daughter; and one grandson.
