Alice Virginia Severson, 79, Seymour, Wis.

Alice Virginia Severson, age 79, beloved wife, mother and grandmother, passed away Monday morning, April 14, 2003 at her home in Seymour, Wis.

She was born Nov. 20, 1923 in Albert Lea, the daughter of the late George and Lulu (Cowles) Flanagan.

On July 31, 1946 she was united in marriage to Jerry Severson in Faribault. She and her husband resided in Albert Lea until 1998, when they moved to Stratford, Okla., to live by their son. In December 2002 they moved to Seymour to be near their daughter.

Alice’s family was first and foremost in her life. The time spent with and serving her family was what she enjoyed most; she also enjoyed reading.

She is survived by her husband, Jerry; her daughter, Julie (Nels) Agen of Seymour, Wis.; her son, Bob (Julie) Severson of Shawnee, Okla.; her grandchildren:

Nathan, Josh, Matthew, Jerusha, Jessica, Angie (Chris), and Jami; two great-grandchildren: Keziah and Justin; one brother, Charles Flanagan; and one sister, Carrie Troe, both of Albert Lea; special nieces: Carol (Roger D.) Olson, Sharon (Cal) Golden, and Marilyn Waters; special nephews: Dick (Pat) Flanagan and George Ulmen; also other nieces and nephews.

Alice was preceded in death by her sisters and brothers.

Private funeral services will be held at the Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, 358 S. Main Street, Seymour, with the Rev. Jim Ferguson officiating.

A wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother, who will never be forgotten and will always be in our hearts.
