Robert Neal Radloff, 62, Austin

Robert Neal Radloff, age 62, of Austin, died at his home Tuesday morning, May 20, 2003.

He was born July 5, 1940, to Fred A. and Ella (Lukes) Radloff in Austin. Growing up in rural London, Bob was active in FFA and 4-H. After graduation from Austin High School in 1958, he received further education at the University of Minnesota, majoring in Ag Economics and Animal Husbandry.

He married Susan Johnson on June 10, 1967 at Westminster Presbyterian Church. They lived in Sun Prairie and Madison, Wis., before moving to Austin in 1971. Bob started working as a farm sales representative in Wisconsin, then moved to Austin and bought the Austin Seed Company. He later sold the business and became an auctioneer. He belonged to Westminster Presbyterian Church where he was involved in choir. Membership in civic groups included board member of the Mower County Historical Society, president of the Root River Antique Historical Power Association, member and past president of Rotary, member of the Elks, board member of the Paramount Theater and a member of the Mower County Fair Board.

He is survived by his wife, Sue; daughters: Beth (Mark) Becker of Hokah, and Brenda (Jeff) Lund, of New Ulm; two grandchildren: Tristan and Teddy Lund; sisters: Elda Amundson of Thousand Oaks, Calif., and Lucille Watney of Northwood, Iowa; brother, Ronald Radloff of Austin; and nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Fred Jr.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, May 24,

at Westminster Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Michael Olmsted officiating. Interment is at London Cemetery, London. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Friday at Worlein Funeral Home in Austin and at the church one hour prior to the service on Saturday.

The family prefers memorials to Westminster Presbyterian Church.
