Baas wins Northwood Invitational

NORTHWOOD, Iowa &045; Chris Baas of Albert Lea won the championship in the 2003 Northwood Invitational Golf Tournament at Northwood Country Club.

Baas topped the field in the championship flight with 102 strokes for 27 holes, shooting a 70 on his first 18 and a 32 on his final nine. Brian Lyons of Green Bay, Wis., and Stu Paar of Osage both shot 105, with Lyons taking second by a tiebreaker.
