Sheldon Jerome Lundgren, age 77, passed away Monday, May 10, 2004, in McAllen, Texas.

He was in the U.S. Navy and was proud to be a veteran of World War II. He was a member of the VFW post 8788, Moose Club, Elks Club, Eagles Club and a deacon at his church,

He is survived by his wife, Barbara Lundgren of Pharr, Texas; children: Carol Welb of Mankato, Louise Jochims of Lakefield, Minn., and Mary Pauling of Lakefield; step-children: Shayne Bjorndahl of Mandan, N.D., Colleen Marguradt of Owatonna, Darcy Klouse of Rice Lake, Wis., Marc Darrington of Blue Earth, and Gregg Darrington of Waseca; 21 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at later date. Skinner-Silva Funeral Home of Pharr, Texas, is in charge of arrangements.
