David &uot;Henry&uot; Hendrickson, age 60, of Alden, died Thursday, Oct. 7, 2004, at a hospice home in rural Alden after being in ill health the past two months.
Funeral services will be 2:30
p.m. Saturday, Oct. 9, at Bruss-Heitner Funeral Home in Wells The Rev. Henry Hendricks will officiate. Visitation will be held at Bruss-Heitner Funeral Home in Wells from 5 to 7 p.m. today, and one hour prior to services on Saturday at the funeral home. Interment will be at Rosehill Cemetery in Wells.
David was born on June 5, 1944, the son of Julius and Rose (Schroeder) Hendrickson in Albert Lea
He was baptized and confirmed at the First Lutheran Church in Wells (now Good Shepherd Lutheran Church). David grew up in rural Minnesota Lake and moved to Alden in 1965. He worked at Ventura Foods in Albert Lea since it opened in 1966. David enjoyed gardening, animals and country living.
He was a very kind and generous person.
He is survived by three sisters: Delores and husband Ellsworth Bennett of Albert Lea, Bernadine and husband Hilbert Voigt of Albert Lea, and Myrna and husband Donald Schulz of Wells; sister-in-law, Lorraine and husband Jack Browman of Albert Lea; two nieces: Kathy Schulz and Jacki Flanders; and two nephews: Jeff and Mark Bennett.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Roger, in 1996; one niece, Julie Voigt; and two nephews: Randall Voigt and Kent Schulz.
