Donald E. Pitts, age 70, of Maple Grove, Minn., died Monday, Dec. 20, 2004, in Robbinsdale, Minn.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, Dec. 23, at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 9100 93d Ave. N., in Brooklyn Park, Minn. Interment will be in St. Vincent de Paul Cemetery in Osseo, Minn.

He was born Jan. 25, 1934, in Luverne, Minn.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert; and two sisters: Juanita and Donna.

Donald is survived by wife, Joyce E.; children: David (Kelly) and children, Alexis, Ashley and Ariel, of Forest Lake, Minn.; Robert (Joleen) and children, Samantha and Jacob, of Big Lake, Minn.; and Jennifer (Alan) Stroh and children, Andrew, Jordan and Tyler, of Brooklyn Center, Minn.; and mother, Lillian Pitts of New Hope, Minn.

He was very active is the Osseo American Legion and a 1959 Graduate of Mankato State University.
