Thomas Delaney Clark, 66, Albert Lea

Funeral services for Thomas D. Clark, age 66, of Albert Lea, will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 8, at Bayview/Freeborn Funeral Home. The Rev. Mark Wendland will officiate, Interment will be in Hillcrest Cemetery. Visitation is 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Bayview/Freeborn Funeral Home, and one hour prior to the service on Wednesday. Tom died peacefully in his sleep at his home Sunday, Dec. 5, 2004, from complications of his diabetes.

Thomas Delaney Clark was born Jan. 2, 1938, to Frank and Edres (Delaney) Clark in Fort Dodge, Iowa. On June 8, 1967, Tom was united in marriage to Janet Amundson in Watertown, S.D. He was employed for 46 years by the M & SL Railroad, which later became Chicago-Northwestern and then the Union Pacific. After retiring, Tom and Jan delivered Winnebago Motor Homes for Bennett Motor Express. Tom also “helped out” at M & S Outdoor Equipment and was especially proud of the fact that he owned the first Laser X – Mark lawn mower in the area. He loved to fish and go camping, play pool, and spend time with his family.

Survivors, include his wife, Jan; sons: Rodger and his wife Lesa, and David and his wife Sandy; and grandchildren: Dustin, Amber and Derek.

Tom was preceded in death by his parents.
