Antoinette Elbring, 77, Kahului, Hawaii

Antoinette Elbring (Reynen), 77, recently of Kahului, Hawaii, died Monday, Dec. 20, 2004, after a long battle with Parkinson’s Disease. Toni passed peacefully in her home under hospice care and in the company of her daughter.

She graduated from Albert Lea High School in 1945, Naeve Hospital School of Nursing in 1949 and Central College in Pella, Iowa, in 1951.

She had a 40-year career as a registered nurse, retiring as an operating room supervisor in Kettering, Ohio, in 1991.

She leaves to cherish her memory one daughter, Julie (Greg) Wood; two sons, Ray (Heidi-Rose) Elbring and Greg Elbring; three brothers, Willis (Joan) Reynen, Albert (Doris) Reynen and John (Judy) Reynen and four sisters, Betty (Arent) Mondeel, Bernice (Martin) Ferwerda,

Marjorie (Robert) Anderson and Jane (Larry) Suntken.

Her love, strength, and wisdom will guide them for many years to come.

A memorial service will be held at the Hollandale Reformed Church at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, April 27.

The family suggests remembrances to the National Parkinson’s Foundation.
