Crash kills two

Two people traveling in a Chevy pickup were killed Wednesday morning after they collided with a semi-tractor trailer east of Alden.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, the driver of the pickup was Robin Marie Lee, 48, of Fairmont. The passenger was her husband, Rodney Robert Lee, also 48.
The driver of the semi, Stanley Gillett, 47, of Sioux Falls, S.D., was not injured, the state patrol officer said.
He said the crash occurred in the westbound lane of Interstate-90 near the twin bridges about one mile east of Alden. The incident occurred at 8:34 a.m. and roads were icy at the time, the officer said.
The incident remains under investigation.
