Lorraine Evelyn Bock, 75, Owatonna

Lorraine Evelyn Bock, age 75, of Owatonna, died Wednesday, Jan. 19, 2005, at Infinia at Owatonna.

She was born March 31, 1929, in Lemond Township, the daughter of Alfred and Dora (Wilker) Brocker. On Nov. 25, 1950, she married Melvin Bock at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Meriden.

Lorraine had enjoyed working in her garden and canned her produce.

She loved to take her fishing trip up north every year when she was younger and enjoyed playing cards with her family and friends. She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary and the Legion Auxiliary.

Lorraine had been battling cancer for the past seven years. She was a very caring and nurturing woman who loved her family. Her grandchildren were especially important to her.

Lorraine is survived by her daughters: Marlene and Larry Tautges of Albert Lea, and Lori and Larry Lura of Ellendale; son, Mike

and Jackie Bock of

Rochester; brothers: Ernest Brocker of Owatonna, and Elmer and Sharon Brocker of Wanamingo; sister-in-law, Magdeline Brocker of Brainerd; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin; her parents; one daughter; one grandson; and three brothers.

Visitation will be held at Michaelson Funeral Home, Owatonna, today from 3 to 7 p.m., and on Saturday at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church from 10 to 11 a.m. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 22, at

St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Meriden. The Rev.Gary Rusinko of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church will be officiating. Burial will be in the St. Paul’s Lutheran Cemetery.

Memorials are preferred to Owatonna Area Hospice, American Cancer Society, or St. Paul’s Church.
