Memorial services for Jeffery Alan Callahan, of 214 N. First Ave., Albert Lea, will be held 10:30 a.m. Thursday, May 26, at St. Theodore Catholic Church. The Rev. Robert Schneider will officiate. Interment will be in St. Theodore Cemetery.

Jeffery died unexpectedly on Sunday, May 22, 2005, at his home. He was 46.

He was born on Oct. 26, 1958, in Albert Lea the son of James and Beverly (Haugrud) Callahan.

He married Laura Hollund on July 25, 1991, in Forest City, Iowa.

He was a lifetime Albert Lea resident and enjoyed fishing and camping.

Jeff is survived by his wife, Laura of Albert Lea; two children: Jennifer Callahan and Roxanne Callahan, both of Albert Lea; his father, James Callahan of Albert Lea: brothers and sisters: Belinda and her husband Jim Fischer of Albert Lea, Dennis Callahan of Albert Lea, John Callahan and his wife Karen of Waseca, Danny Callahan, Tim Callahan of Detroit Lakes, and Tom Callahan and Jim Callahan, both of Albert Lea; father-in-law and mother-in-law: Ervin and Donna Hollund of Faribault; and several brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by grandparents; and his mother, Beverly Callahan.

In lieu of flowers, memorials suggested to the family.
