Florence Catherine Posthumus (nee DeMars), age 90, of Eden Prairie, formerly of Burnsville, Staples, Albert Lea and Hollandale.

She was preceded in death by husband, Henry William; sister, Audrey; and brother, Donald.

She is survived by children: Nancy Reisetter of Bloomington; Marily Roorda of Fort Worth, Texas; James (Julie) of Burnsville, and David (Gayle) of Edina; and Robert and (Mary Jo) of Lakeville; nine grandchildren: Greg, Maribeth (Chris), Jeff, Melissa (Tony), Erik (Susan), Gretchen, Jennifer (Leonard), Justin and Jason; 13 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; brother, Darrell (Patricia) DeMars of Park Rapids; sister, Rosemary (Harry) Frost of Bothell, Wash.; along with many loving relatives and friends.

Florence was a gifted musician, artist, and a beloved sister, mother and grandmother. The all-embracing graciousness of her spirit, which she so lovingly extended to all without exception will be forever remembered and cherished in the hearts of those whose lives she touched.

Memorials are preferred.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday with reception to follow. Visitation is one hour prior to the service, and also 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, all at Washburn-McReavy Edina Chapel, West 50th Street at Highway 100.
