Magdalen Lucille Larson, 89, of Owatonna, died Thursday, June 16, 2005, at Owatonna Hospital.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. today at Michaelson Funeral Home in Owatonna. The Rev. Donn Kittle of Grace Baptist Church will officiate.

Burial will be in the Pontoppidan Cemetery in Lemond Township. Visitation will be from 1-2 p.m. at Michaelson Funeral Home. Memorials are preferred to the donor’s choice.

She was born June 22, 1915, in Havana Township, the daughter of Frank and Mary (Pechacek) Kubat. Magdalen enjoyed fishing, gardening and baking cookies and bread.

On April 3, 1937, she married Manuel Larson. She loved puppies, raising chickens, playing cards, quilting and spending time with her family.

Magdalen is survived by her children Lynell and Larry Bissen of Deep Haven; Dean and Eileen Larson of Owatonna; Evon and Duane Wobschall of Owatonna; Joan and Russell Christenson of Clinton, Mo.; Ida and Irvin Wagner of Osage, Iowa; Duane and Eileene Larson of Owatonna; Donna and Vincent Hunt of Owatonna; Vicki and Lloyd Wimer of Owatonna and Daniel Larson of Owatonna; 29 grandchildren and 42 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her son Ronald Larson, four grandchildren, one great-grandchild, five sisters and two brothers.
