Clyde Snyder, 89, Lakeville

Clyde W. Snyder, age 89, of Lakeville and formerly of Faribault, died Friday, July 15, 2005 at Fairview Ridges Hospital, Burnsville.

Funeral services were held 10:30 a.m. Monday, July 18,

a.m. at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, Faribault, with the Rev. Allan Nelson officiating. Interment will be at Elmore Cemetery, Elmore. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the service at the church on Monday. Arrangements are with the Boldt Funeral Home, Faribault.

Clyde Wilbur Snyder was born Nov. 23, 1915, in Elmore, the son of Arthur D. and Mary (Hesseldahl) Snyder. He married Mildred Oswald on Dec. 27, 1939, at Shiloh Lutheran Church, Elmore. She preceded him in death on May 5, 2002. Prior to his retirement in 1980, he was employed by the Albert Lea Freezer Warehouse.

He is survived by two daughters: Becky (and Thomas) Ambrasas of Lakeville, and Shirley Woods of Portland, Ore.; seven grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Mildred; son in law, Jerry Woods; nine brothers: Earl, Lyle, Donald, Howard, Vernon, Clifford, Ray, Frank and Art Snyder; and two sisters: Hazel Snyder and Madelyn Ehrich.
