Kathryn Bluhm, 62, Waseca

Kathryn K. Bluhm, age 62, of Waseca, passed away Friday, Aug. 19, 2005, at the Lake Shore Inn Nursing Home in Waseca.

Born in Albert Lea on May 15, 1943, she was the daughter of Manly and Ethel (Pedersen) Bakken. She graduated from Freeborn High School and later married John Bluhm on Nov. 16, 1963, in Alden. She worked at Brown Printing Co. in Waseca for almost 20 years, having worked in the bindery and mailing preparation departments. She enjoyed her children, grandchildren, traveling, crafts and making silk floral arrangements. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Waseca.

She is survived by her husband, John of Waseca; children, Mike Bluhm of Osceola, Wis., Kevin Bluhm of River Falls, Wis., Kris and Joel Hagglund of Oakdale, Jeff and Michelle Bluhm of Medford, Julie and Jeff Timmerman of Eagle Lake and Diane Bluhm of Waseca; 10 grandchildren; and her parents, Manly and Ethel Bakken of Alden. She is also survived by siblings, Becky and Larry Bluhm of Albert Lea, Roseanne and Alan Brandau of Appleton, Wis., Peggy and Bruce Triechler of Maple Grove,

Visitation will be at Kinder-Dennis Home for Funerals in Waseca on Monday, Aug. 22, from 4 to 7 p.m. with a 7 p.m. funeral service at the funeral home with the Rev. Terry Quick officiating.
