Wayne Mithun, 55, of Wells

Wayne W. &uot;Tuner&uot; Mithun, age 55, of Wells, died Monday, Aug. 29, 2005, at his home in Wells after a short battle with cancer.

Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 2, at Bruss-Heitner Funeral Home in Wells, with the Rev. Meg Sander officiating. Visitation will be held at Bruss-Heitner Funeral Home in Wells on Thursday, Sept. 1, from 4 to 8 p.m., and one hour prior to services at the funeral home on Friday.

Interment will be in Rosehill Cemetery in Wells.

Wayne W. Mithun was born July 10, 1950, the son of Don and LaVonne (Mithun) Streeter in Albert Lea. He was a life long resident of Wells, and a graduate of Wells-Easton High School, the class of 1969. On Jan. 10, 1970, he married Theresa Stark in Shakopee. Wayne worked at Ventura Foods in Albert Lea for 32 years. He loved hunting and being with his grandchildren. He enjoyed watching the Minnesota Vikings and racing on TV.

He is survived by his wife, Terri Mithun of Wells; daughter, Wendy Schultze of Wells; son, Pat and his wife Caryn Mithun of Bricelyn; five grandchildren:

Jordan, Jagger and Jamie Schultze, and McKayla and Grace Mithun; parents: Don and LaVonne Streeter of Bunker Hill, Ind.; one sister,

Judy and her husband Floyd Detamore of Peru, Ind.; one brother, Richard Streeter and special friend Josie Roe of Peru, Ind.; mother-in-law, Alvina Stark of Shakopee; two brothers-in-law: Robert and his wife Barb Stark, and Don and his wife Theresa Stark, all of Shakopee; one sister-in-law, Mary Lou Bryant of Bloomington, Minn.; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his son-in-law, Billy Schultze, one sister, Joyce Streeter; maternal grandparents: John and Bessie Mithun; paternal grandparents: John and Alice Streeter; and his father-in-law, Henry Stark.
