The Bulldogs stretched that advantage to 14-0 when Peter Brekken broke free and went 35 yards to the end zone.

Tony Norris found Chris Hesse for the two-point conversion to end the first half scoring.

Neither team got much going through the air as the Vikings were able to hold Norris &045;&160;who went over 100 yards passing last week &045; to just 35 yards on 4-of-8 passing.

N-K did close the gap to a single touchdown in the third when Matt Bloomingdale intercepted a pass and rumbled 55 yards for the score.

However, Kester’s second score of the night from 23 yards out in the fourth quarter put the game away.

Kester finished the game with 136 yards on 24 carries and the two trips to the end zone.

He also added eight tackles on the defensive side of the ball.

Brekken added 93 rushing yards for the Bulldogs.

N-K was paced by Matt Hengesteg who had 78 yards on 10 carries.

The win improved Lake Mills to 2-0 on the season while the Vikings move to 1-1.
