Grace Lundberg, 76, Albert Lea

A memorial service for Grace B. Lundberg of Albert Lea will be held at

1 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 11, 2005, at Bonnerup Funeral Service Chapel in Albert Lea.

The Rev. Richard Spande will officiate. Interment will be in State Line Cemetery, rural Northwood, Iowa.

Friends may visit with family one hour before the services at the funeral home.

Grace died on Saturday, Oct. 8, 2005, at the Albert Lea Medical Center. She was 76.

She was born on Oct. 11, 1928, in Northwood, Iowa, the daughter of John and

Henrietta (Wangsness) Anderson. She graduated from Albert Lea High School with the class of 1946.

Following graduation Grace worked at

Munsingwear

and later worked as a dietary assistant at Naeve Hospital. She married George Lundberg on Dec. 31, 1961, in Albert Lea. To this union one daughter Sherri, was born.

George died in 1968.

Grace, a young single mother, learned to be very independent and she and her daughter were a duo. She was a great mom, and made the best of a difficult situation. She worked at Feature Office for more than 20 years before retiring due to her failing health. She enjoyed traveling, being outside and yard work and had a special compassion for animals.

She will be missed by her daughter, Sherri, and her husband Jerry, Baker and grandson, Nick, all of Pearl Lake,

two sisters: Eloris and her husband, Virgil Worke, and

Gloria and her husband, Jack Jenson all of Clarks Grove; brothers Edward Anderson and his wife Kathy, of New Richland, Jerome Anderson and his wife Shirley, of Outing; and many niece and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, George, in 1968, brother, Ardell Anderson; and a special friend, Homer Jensen.
