GARNER &045;&160;The Lake Mills volleyball team dominated its district semifinal match with Garner-Hayfield winning convincingly 25-9, 25-5, 25-9.

&8220;We played well tonight,&8221; said Bulldog head coach Jim Bohmer.

&8220;We stayed offensive and served aggressive.

We have worked hard to play with more emotion and energy and that will be a must to advance each round.&8221;

Megan Pederson was a force at the net for the Bulldogs recording 16 kills in 24 attempts, Sam Arneson recorded 13 points off her serve and Caitlin Moore added four digs.

Jennie Finer dished out 23 assists from her setter position and had a team-high six aces.

The Bulldogs will face Belmond-Klemme in the district final round this Tuesday.

Belmond defeated North Iowa 25-12, 25-19, 25-18 to advance.
