Suzanne Sheri Schue Friesen died peacefully on Thursday, Oct. 27, 2005, in bed at her home in Fairfield, Calif., after a long illness.

She was born, July 31, 1953, at Naeve Hospital in Albert Lea to Roger and Dorothy Schue. They preceded her in death, Roger in 1959 and Dorothy in 1990.

Suzanne graduated from Albert Lea High School in 1971. She was a psychology major at Evangel University in Springfield, Missouri and transferred to the University of Minnesota.

Shortly before she would have graduated from the U of M she met and married Randall Friesen who had recently moved to Hayward from Marshall, Minn.

They were the first members married in what was then the “new&8221; Assembly of God church building.

Randy joined the Air Force and dragged Suzanne off to numerous Air Force bases in Mississippi, New Mexico, and Guam. After the Air Force, they moved back to Minnesota.

They had three children, Jaimeson, Brittany and Zachariah.

Suzanne taught Sunday School classes throughout her life and Suzi and Randy were Youth and Music Directors at Hastings Assembly of God Church where in 1986 they became pastors.

In 1987 they moved to California and were Assistant Pastors at El Cerrito Christian Center with Randy’s father, Rev. Bob and Jean Friesen.

Suzanne enjoyed the Bay Area and especially going to the beach. Suzanne served as Social/Activities Director at Bay Park, a Gracious Retirement Center in Pinole, Calif. for over 10 years, making a significant difference in the lives of the many friends she met there.

During this time Suzanne was stricken with rheumatoid arthritis, fibromyalgia and severe headaches. Her illness and the severe pain progressed for 12 years.

She was so proud of her two grandchildren, Hannah and Sara Kwong who along with their parents, and the rest of the family and many friends brought hope and enjoyment to Suzanne.

She suffers no more. Suzanne is survived by her Husband, Randy, her three children, Jaimeson Friesen of San Carlos, Calif., Brittany (Mrs. Alan Kwong) of Richmond, Calif. and their two daughters Hannah and Sara, and Zachariah who is still living at home, attending college in Northern California. Suzanne is also survived by her sisters, Sandra Jensen (& Rod) of California (O.C.), and Lynn Schue of Savage, Minn., multiple aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews and many, many friends.
