This year’s Valentine’s king and queen were named at the Albert Lea Senior Center Friday. LeRoy Everhard was crowned king and Diane Krock was crowned queen.

Each year, Valentine’s king and queen are chosen at the senior center based on different criteria such as who has the most grandchildren or most great-grandchildren. This year’s royalty was chosen by the youngest in attendance.

King and queen each received gifts including chocolates and stuffed teddy bears.

There were 82 people in attendance for the party which revolved around bingo, lunch and celebrating February’s birthday guests.
