NORTHWOOD &045;&160;Both the Northwood-Kensett boys’ and girls’ golf teams took second in triangulars held at the Northwood Country Club.

Matt Midtgaard led the boys with a round of 42 as the Vikings shot 181 as a team.

Osage won with a score of 167 while St. Ansgar was third with a 187.

Ryan Weisert carded a 44, Mike Bloomingdale shot 45 and Trent Midtgaard rounded out the low four with a 50.

Travis Johnson and Ben Read shot 50 and 58, respectively.

Osage had both the medalist in Chris Bushbaum (37) and the runner-up Mike Milbrandt (39).

The Viking girls shot a 245 to finish ahead of St Ansgar’s 275 but behind Osage’s 215.

Lauren Hartman had the low round for the Vikings with a 57 and Ashley Fredericks was close behind with a 58.

Erin Bedford shot 64, Angie Sime added a 66 and Maddi Arnold completed the varsity with a 67.

Karen Kolbet was the medalist for Osage shooting 47 while Bridgetate Edgington was the runner-up with a 55.
