The Wolverines committed six errors in the game including two in the seventh.

&8220;Once it started to go wrong it all went down hill from there,&8221; said Glenville-Emmons head coach Louie Toulouse.

The Wolverines tied the game at two in the third inning when Wade Flattum reached on an error, Justin Flattum singled, both runners advanced on a wild pitch and scored on a Michael Greibrok single.

G-E would have a chance to score in the fifth with runners on second and third with and outs, however, they could not scratch out another hit.

&8220;If we could have scored in that inning we could have taken control of the game and possibly gotten the win,&8221; said Toulouse.

Blooming Prairie would take the lead with two runs in the sixth before exploding for eight in the seventh.

Justin Flattum took the loss for G-E giving up 12 hits, striking out six and walking two in 6 2/3 innings of work.

&8220;We really struggled with our hitting in this sub-section tournament,&8221; said Toulouse. &8220;It was something that started at the end of the regular season, and we just couldn’t get hits to drive people in.&8221;
