Frieda Hagemann, 92, of Wells

Frieda L. Hagemann, age 92, of Wells, died Friday, August 11, 2006 at the Albert Lea Medical Center.

Funeral Services will be on Tuesday, Aug. 15, 2006, at 11 a.m. at United Methodist Church in

Wells, with visitation from 9 to 11 a.m. at the church. Pastor Lynn Borgeson will officiate. Burial

will be in Rice Lake Cemetery, Foster Township, Faribault County. Bruss-Heitner Funeral Home in Wells is in charge of arrangements.

Frieda L. Hagemann was born Oct. 14, 1913 the daughter of Richard and Ida (Wegner) Woyda in rural Walters. On June 29, 1928, she was united in marriage to Roger Hagemann at the Rice Lake

Evangelical Church, and they recently celebrated their 68th anniversary. Frieda was a member of

Rice Lake United Methodist Church where she had been the church organist and pianist for many

years. Frieda farmed for 68 years along side her husband Roger. She loved farming, gardening, cooking and her specialty was canning dill pickles. She enjoyed crafts, crocheting and tatting.

Frieda will be missed by all who knew her.

Frieda is survived by her loving husband, Roger Hagemann of Wells; a son

Ron and his wife Maggie

Hagemann of Moorhead;

two granddaughters Gretchen and her husband Adam Haisman of

Shakopee, and Laura Hagemann of Woodbury; one great-granddaughter Avery Haisman of Shakopee; several nieces and nephews, along with a host of friends and neighbors.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and his wife Harold and Evelyn Woyda; one nephew, Roger Woyda; one niece, Maxine Gleason; one grandniece, Tammy Woyda, daughter of Roger and Thelma Woyda who died in infancy.
