Funeral services for Levi L. Blouin, age 16, of Ellendale, will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 16, at the First Lutheran Church in Ellendale. The Rev. Arne Halbakken will officiate. Interment will be in the First Lutheran Cemetery. Visitation is 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday at the church prior to the services. Bayview/Freeborn Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.

Levi Lucas Blouin was born Jan. 27, 1990, to Douglas and Julie (Langlie) Blouin in Albert Lea. He was a junior at New Richland-Hartland-Ellendale-Geneva High School. Levi enjoyed hunting, fishing all year long, skiing and snow boarding and loved animals. He was very mechanically inclined. Levi worked with his cousin at the Hope Creamery. He enjoyed spending time with his many friends and family and loved his dog, &8220;Duke&8221; and before him, &8220;Wishbone.&8221;

Survivors include his parents, Julie and Doug of Ellendale; brother, Cody at home; half sister, Sarah Zamora; grandmother, Helyn Langlie of Ellendale; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins; and his faithful companion, &8220;Duke.&8221;

Levi was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Athan Langlie and his paternal grandparents, George and Jean Blouin.
