Man allegedly steals car, is caught by State Patrol

Police charged Clinton Eastman, 22, of Rochester, with stealing an brown 1998 Blazer Tuesday after being stopped by the Minnesota State Patrol near the 172-mile marker on Interstate 90.

According to police, the vehicle&8217;s owner, Teresa Kroupa, was inside the Ole&8217;s Shell gas station on 2222 E. Main St. when Eastman was seen getting into the vehicle and driving off at about 2:50 p.m.

Eastman is being held in jail on charges of stealing the automobile, police said.
