Led by a third place finish in the 250 butterfly relay the Albert Lea girls&8217; swim team took ninth at the Panther Relays in Lakeville over the weekend.

The trio of Heather Carlson, Jackie Elwood and Samantha Cole swam a 2:48.64 to take third in the 250 butterfly relay.

Amanda Walters, Korbin Wayne, and Whitney Walters swam to a fifth place showing in the 400 free relay with a time of 3:57.00.

Gracie Thomas, Blair Schreiber and Bria Schreiber also placed fifth in the 300 breaststroke relay coming to the wall in 3:57.59.

Mallory Carstens, Alaina Schultz and Emily Klick finished ninth in the 600 free relay posting a time of 7:16.00.

The 200 free relay team of Cole, Wayne, Nicole Larson and Whitney Walters took 10th in 1:51.72.

Walters, Elwood and Ali Schmitz took eighth in the 300 backstroke finishing in 3:36.15.

The Tigers&8217; quartet of Klick, Larson, Wayne and Cartens were 11th in the 850 freestyle relay with a time of 10:15.45.

Lakeville took the team title with 145 points while Prior Lake and Farmington tied for second with 104.
