year with a 25th place finish.

Colton Peterson and Mick Tiedman battled it out for second place on the team with a sprint to the finish, but Colton held Mick off to end up in 43rd place.&8221;

Ben Mathews (57th), Jim Adams (63rd), Jack Olson (82nd) and Casey Tiedman (86th) rounded out

the varsity for Lake Mills.

&8220;At this time last year, we had only four out of nine high school boy runners finish under 22 minutes in this race,&8221; VanGorkom said. &8220;This year all seven of the runners finished under 22 minutes.&8221;

The girls&8217; squad was led by Kelly Renshaw with a 32nd place finish. Kristen Holstad finished 51st and Lauren Nelson was 75th.

&8220;Kelly Renshaw had her best meet of the year in terms of where she finished,&8221; VanGorkom said.

&8220;She just missed medaling by two spots and finished 32nd.

She beat her time from last year by about a full minute.

For a sophomore to be running these times is great.&8221;
