Bradley Quade, 49, Frost

Bradley G. Quade, age 49, of Frost, died Friday, Oct. 20, 2006, at United Hospital in Blue Earth, as a result of a farm accident. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Oct. 24, at 1:30 p.m. at United Lutheran Church in Frost. The Rev. Pat Hinkie and the Rev. Ed Nieman will officiate. Visitation will be Monday from 4 to 7 p.m. at Bruss-Heitner Funeral Home in Bricelyn and one hour prior to the service at the church on Tuesday. Interment will be in United Cemetery in Frost.

Bradley G. Quade was born on Oct. 27, 1956, in Blue Earth, the son of Alton and Ila (Anderson) Quade. He was baptized and a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church until 1982 when he joined United Lutheran in Frost. He graduated from Frost High School where he played football. He farmed with his uncle Lyle after high school, worked for Blue Earth Ready Mix for 13 years, then farmed full time.

On April 24, 1982, he married Cindy Freidel, their twin boys were born on July 26, 1984. Brad enjoyed spending time with his boys and friends. He was mayor of Frost for two years and served on the city council. He also enjoyed driving slowly looking at the crops, trips to Vegas with friends, Sunday barbeques with neighbors and serving his friends cool refreshments during his years as a bartender.

He is survived by his wife Cindy of Frost, his sons: Ryan of Frost, and Jacob (fianc/e Tina and future grandchild) of Lake Crystal; his parents Alton and Ila Quade of Albert Lea; one brother Bruce (Wendy) Quade of Brainerd; two sisters, Peggy (Randy) Berg of St. Cloud, and Tara (Dean) Ketterling of Albert Lea, his maternal grandmother Dorothy Anderson of Adams; his mother-in-law and father-in-law: Floyd and Norma Freidel of Bricelyn, two sisters-in-law: Mitzi (Rod) Shirk of Eugene, Ore., and Peggy Sabin of Blue Earth, and one brother-in-law: Jeff (Jenny) Freidel of Monticello; numerous nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, and cousins.

Preceding him in death were his grandparents, one nephew Brent Shirk, as well as his dog, Kirby.
