Man arrested for slashing tires on at least 16 vehicles

Police arrested Jermine Redhawk Weritlo, 20, of Phoenix for first-degree criminal damage to property and domestic assault early this morning after slashing tires on at least 16 vehicles in the Lofts at Lea Center Apartments.
According to police reports, witnesses reported seeing Weritlo, wearing a sweatshirt and a red jersey, walking down the parking lot at the complex slashing tires at about 1:30 a.m.
When police arrived, they did not initially locate Weritlo, but instead found a woman who explained that she had just gotten into a disagreement with someone who matched his description.
Police went back later and and arrested Weritlo at 4:47 a.m.
Two knives were recovered at the apartment, according to police reports.
First-degree criminal damage to property is a felony.
Three charged for meth possession
Three individuals were charged with first-degree possession of meth Wednesday at 11:01 a.m. on 1333 Margaretha Ave. after a search warrant was executed by the Freeborn County Sheriff&8217;s Department and the Albert Lea Police Department.
According to Sheriff&8217;s Office reports, Jodie Stinehart, 39, Shane Allen Hill, 35, and Roger Henrickson were at the residence.
Reports indicated that about 5 to 6 grams of crystal meth were found at the residence. There were also other things found that still have to be analyzed.
