Albert Lea did not lack for chances outshooting Northfield 31-17.

The Tigers came into the season knowing it had the players capable of creating scoring opportunities, however, finishing those chances is something head coach Steve Falk knows may take some time to develop.

Northfield would score two times in the second period to take the lead and added an insurance goal late in the third to close out the scoring.

The Tigers will look to even their record tomorrow when they host Big Nine foe Rochester Century at City Arena. The puck will drop on the varsity game at 7:30 p.m.
