We hereby resolve to be patient with the Minnesota Vikings. We resolve to wait for next year because we know the head coach can get better at play calling. We know the rookie quarterback can learn a lot in the off-season. We know the offense can become a league champion if given the right amount of help.

We know Santa Claus will bring the Minnesota Vikings the right people in the right places to make the 2007 team one to remember.

But, boy, if we weren&8217;t making resolutions today, we would have a lot more criticism of what&8217;s wrong with the local NFL team. Instead, we will be understanding, because we know it takes time to turn an organization around. And &8212; moreover &8212; because the team skirted any Love Boat sort of scandals this year. That alone is a key accomplishment for the purple and gold.
