Elaine Carol Sickels died Feb. 18, 2007, at Roseville, Calif. Visitation was held Feb. 26 at Lind Brothers Mortuary, Carmichael, Calif. Funeral service was Feb. 27 at Lind Brothers Mortuary. The Rev. Richard Reimer officiated. Interment was held at Sacramento Valley VA National Cemetery, Dixon, Calif.

She was the beloved wife of Myron Alan Sickels, beloved mother of Randy, Rick, and Debra, grandmother of six and great-grandmother of one, soon-to-be two.

Elaine grew up on a farm in Glenville where she loved helping her father and mother on the farm. She learned to be an excellent cook and loved to share her talent with her family and friends. She married Myron who joined the Air Force for 20 years and accompanied him and her children throughout various locations in Europe and the U.S. They later settled in Sacramento where the whole family still resides. Together they have always enjoyed camping, motorcycle riding, and fishing at their property in Eagle Lake. Elaine has always been a loyal Vikings and Kings fan, through think and thin. She was a great lady who will be missed dearly and never forgotten.
