Police cited Alexander Maxwell Brandt, 18, with underage consumption while operating and possession of drug paraphernalia at 10:02 p.m. Thursday after an officer stopped the vehicle he was driving because of a careless driving complaint, according to police reports. Also cited for underage consumption was passenger Joseph Jacob Messiah, 18. The vehicle was stopped near the intersection of Lakeview Boulevard and Sunset Street, reports indicated.
