17-year-old arrested for theft

A 17-year-old girl was arrested for felony vehicle theft at 2:03 a.m. today after an officer ran a vehicle registration check on a vehicle near the intersection of South Broadway Avenue and East Front Street, police reports stated.
Reports indicated the vehicle came back as stolen from Fairmont. The 17-year-old was transported to New Ulm.
Damage reported at old school
Damage was reported inside the old Freeborn School in Freeborn at 1:26 p.m. Monday, according to Freeborn County Sheriff&8217;s Office reports.
Stereo stolen
A car stereo was reported stolen from a car on the 600 block of James Avenue at 12:56 p.m. Monday, according to police reports.
Canoe missing
A canoe was reported missing Monday from a house on the 1900 block of South Shore Drive, reports stated.
