A celebration of life for Allan Richards will be held at 6 p.m. Friday at Paradise Sunset Chapel Funeral Home, 3934 E. Indian School Road, Phoenix, Ariz.

Allan, age 50, died on June 4, 2007, from his courageous struggle with cancer.

Allan was born in Albert Lea on July 6, 1956. He was the loving husband of Shari for 25 years and father of Kristen. He was a hard worker who enjoyed golf, fishing, hunting and spending time with his family and his Springer Spaniel, Misti.

He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. He is survived by his parents, Al and Naomi Richards; sisters Pat, Mary and Barb; mother and father-in-law Bobbie and Eddie Frola; in-laws, Andy, Bill, Jerry, Tom, Cindy and Doreen; five nieces; and two grandnephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family request contributions be made to Hospice of the Valley, 1510 E. Flower St., Phoenix, AZ 85014.
