A celebration of life will be held at 6 p.m. Friday at Paradise Sunset Chapel Funeral Home, 3934 E. Indian School Road, Phoenix, Ariz., for Allan Richards, age 50, who died on June 4, 2007, from his courageous struggle with cancer.

Allan was born in Albert Lea on July 6, 1956. He was the loving husband of Shari for 25 years and father of Kristen. He was a hard worker who enjoyed golf, fishing, hunting and spending time with his family and his Springer Spaniel, Misti.

He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. He is survived by his parents, Al and Naomi Richards; sisters Pat, Mary and Barb; mother and father-in-law Bobbie and Eddie Frola; and in-laws, Andy, Bill, Jerry, Tom, Cindy and Doreen.

In lieu of flowers, the family request contributions be made to Hospice of the Valley, 1510 E. Flower St., Phoenix, AZ 85014.
