NORTHWOOD, Iowa &8212; Jordan Reindl&8217;s three-run home run in the bottom of the seventh inning secured Northwood-Kensett&8217;s 10-7 win over North Central Monday.

The Vikings pounded out 12 hits in the game jumping on top 3-1 after one inning. Both Jordan Cotter and Trent Midtgaard had a pair of hits as did Dan Bestul who had a single and a double.

North Central would take a 6-5 lead in the top of the fifth scoring four times in the frame. However, N-K&8217;s offense came alive to score five times in the final two innings.

Reindl&8217;s blast was part of a two-hit night for him as the Vikings were able to get their bats going which has not always been the case this season.

Jake Weisert pitched the first 4 2/3 innings for the Vikings allowing eight hits and four runs. Bestul worked the final 2 1/3 to pick up the win giving up one hit. It was Bestul&8217;s sixth win of the season.

Northwood-Kensett is back in action Wednesday when it faced Rockford on the road before returning home Friday.
