Daniel S. Desart, 43, of Albert Lea, was injured when his motorcycle struck a deer near mile marker 173 on Interstate 90 just west of Austin near the Freeborn County line at 7:02 a.m. today, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.

The accident report said Desart was west bound on I-90 when his motorcycle collided with the deer attempting to cross the freeway.

Assisting the state patrol at the accident scene were the Freeborn County Sheriff&8217;s Department and the Mower County Sheriff&8217;s Department.
