MADELIA &8212; The Alden-Conger boys&8217; basketball team played without three starters for portions of its game with Madelia but still won convincingly 70-51 Thursday.

With one player out for the game with injury and two sitting for a half for violating team rules, the Knights looked to rely on Sam Hallman and Paul Little.

However, when Little was forced to the bench with foul trouble Hallman stepped up with 30 points and 11 rebounds to lead the way.
