The Pelican Breeze Foundation is sponsoring a fundraiser called Float the Boat to help pay for the cruise boat Pelican Breeze II. The event takes place from 4:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday.

Cost is $7.50 per person for fish, potatoes, cole slaw, veggies and roll.

Tickets are available at the Albert Lea-Freeborn County Chamber of Commerce, Albert Lea Convention and Visitors Bureau and from any crew member of the Pelican Breeze II.

The riverboat-style boat will arrive in April from Michigan, where it cruised on Gun Lake.
