NEW PRAGUE &8212; The Albert Lea boys&8217; basketball team saw its season come to an end in the first round of section play Wednesday 77-44 against New Prague.

New Prague, the top seed in the section, raced out to a 42-18 lead at halftime and never looked back.

The Tigers were led by Jordan Hanson who had 10 points and Jared Matson added nine while finding some success in the paint in their final action for Albert Lea.

New Prague used its quickness and athleticism to overwhelm the Tigers.

Albert Lea ends the difficult season with a 1-25 record.
