Lightening reportedly hit a pole on 283rd Street about 1/4 mile west of 750th Avenue in Clarks Grove at 3:45 p.m. Thursday, according to Sheriff&8217;s Office reports. Freeborn-Mower Cooperative was notified of the incident.

Around the same time, numerous cars reportedly went into the ditch Thursday on Interstate 35 after what started as hail and turned into freezing rain, reports stated.

Trailer broken into

A trailer was reportedly broken into and trashed on the 100 block of Emmons Street in Emmons at 1:44 p.m. Thursday, according to Freeborn County Sheriff&8217;s Office reports.
