Several crashes reported

Eight traffic crashes were reported in Freeborn County on Monday, according to Freeborn County Sheriff&8217;s Office reports.

During one of these crashes on Monday morning, a car rolled over near Mile Marker 5 on Interstate 35. Reports indicated two people were injured, one of which was a pregnant female. The other seven crashes were vehicles traveling into the ditch or traffic accidents without injuries.

Hit-and-run reported, suspect still missing

A hit-and-run car wreck was reported on Margaretha Avenue at 11:47 p.m. Monday, according to police reports. Reports indicated the suspect who hit the car was a male wearing a white No. 10 jersey and jeans. The male took off running into the Stony Creek Estates, and he has not been located.

Man arrested for DWI

Freeborn County Sheriff&8217;s Office deputies arrested Jonathan Michael Gwilt for fourth-degree DWI charges at 10:52 p.m. Monday after a traffic stop near the intersection of County Road 13 and Interstate 35, according to reports.
