The scores have are in the 70s for the Albert Lea boys’ golf team at just the right time.

The postseason begins today for the Tigers with the Big Nine Conference tournament and after a home meet where three of their scores were in the 70s they followed that with two finishers in the 70s Saturday in a triangular meet with Rochester John Marshall and Faribault.

Grant Stadheim and Casey Marka shot 77 and 79 respectively. Tyler Haaland added a 83 with Mike Falk and Sam Mathiason both chipped in 84s.

The Tigers placed third, shooting 325 while John Marshall and the Falcons tied for first with a 316. Marshall won the tie-breaker when its fifth score was an 89 and Faribault had a 90.
