Oil policy does nothing to benefit consumers

Is Vice President Dick Cheney’s super-secret energy policy a success?

With a barrel of oil up 400 percent since Cheney/Bush took office, it might be time to ask this question. The answer, I guess, depends on who you ask. If the goal was to help the average U.S. consumer, then the answer is a big fat no! Heating costs, gasoline, oil, etc are through the roof.

But if it was set up so secretly as to line his pocket and that of his buddies (Enron, Chevron, and others), then I guess you could say it is a huge success.
