Cochran graduates from Macalester with honors

Megan Cochran, the daughter of Laurie and Terry Cochran of Albert Lea, graduated from Macalester during the colleges 119th exercises on the lawn outside Old Main on May 17. Cochran received a liberal arts degree in psychology and religious studies. Cochran is a graduate of Albert Lea Senior High School.
Cochran was also honored at the Macalester College Honors Convocation April 22.
Cochran received the following honors/awards:
PSI CHI — National honor society in Psychology. Its purposes are to encourage, stimulate and maintain excellence in scholarship and advance the science of psychology. The honor is open to juniors and seniors who have a major or core in psychology and who have a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.5.
Macalester College President Brian Rosenberg presented diplomas to 453 graduating seniors.
